Amrita RITE showcased in Exhibition on Early Grade Reading at READ Alliance Launch

Amrita RITE was showcased at the exhibition on Early Grade Reading at the launch of READ Alliance on the 13 March 2014 at the Center for Knowledge Societies (CKS) campus in New Delhi. The exhibition served as a platform to showcase organizations working in the field of early grade reading.

READ Alliance is a USAID funded program that targets improvement the status of early grade reading in India through new collaborations and high impact Innovations. The launch brought together corporations, NGOs, foundations, policy makers, administrators, education experts, as well as NGOs/ INGOs, researchers, entrepreneurs, schools and teachers to strengthen early grade reading in India. Other exhibitors included JPAL, Pratham, Katha, Hippocampus and Stone 2 Milestones.

The stall was installed and managed by Prof. Prema Nedungadi, Joint Director, Amrita CREATE and Sudheer. K.S, Amrita CREATE team member. They explained the Amrita RITE action plan to the visitors and demonstrated the different interactive educational applications, simulation games and social awareness stories and videos developed by Amrita CREATE on tablet.
